P.S. this movie was great!

I finally got to see the film "P.S. I Love You" for the first time last night.  This movie was so sad (even my bf pulled out the tissues) and very touching. Its about a woman who's husband dies from a terrible illness and her struggles to keep going and rebuild her life again.  I recommend this film, however if you've ALREADY seen it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Gerard's (Jerry) irish accent captivated me....I saw him in '300' but he was a lot more adorable in this film. Hooray for LOVE!

  1. I saw this on an airplane and sniffled and cried through it. All in all, it was a great film. Funny and bittersweet.

  4. Cute movie, but sad. I watched 27 Dresses this weekend for the second time...cute, romantic and just my speed. And later in the week I have plans to watch No Reservations for the second time as well.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for romantic comedies that make you feel like there's hope and a few good men out there, somewhere, maybe...

  5. This is one of my favorite movies. It was adorable, sweet and funny. I also recommend it to everyone. The fashion is great and it also has a great soundtrack.

  6. Love the premise and the actors. However..me and my husband only made it half way through because we were less than thrilled with the acting...just too slow for us.

    Sweet storyline, though.

  19. I went to see P.S. I Love You when it came out in the theatre. The room was full of women (no surprise) and I went with my girlies as well so we had total freedom to comment on the Irish Hottness in this movie...LOL...actually after the scene where you see Williams naked bum you could feel every woman's breath catch in the room and then someone yelled out "Oh! Thank God!" It was hilarious!

Anyway, I thought the movie was great! I loved the part towards the end of the movie where she is walking through central park with her mom and her mom says "a mother's biggest fear is watching her child end up with the same life I did"...something like that. It just made me think so much about my mama and how she is always worries about me (and my sister). I really began to understand her more.

On a lighter note...the fashion was great! The apartment was so lived in and cute and I have added Ireland as one of my top 10 destinations to meet a Hottie!

    Love your blog!

  20. Niki,
Haha that scene where he walks out with no underwear was pretty interesting. I was so into the moment and how she was feeling...that I was just as surprised as her when he walked out that way! : )
I too would like to visit Ireland....and I've met my share of cute IRISH men. : P

    Thanks!

  26. it was nothing compared to sex and the city. that movie had reality to it a depth that so few recognize, whereas this movie needed the disaster to make the punchline.
