Holiday Chic Home

Having a chic-looking home during the Holidays is at the top of my 'to-do' list. Actually, a CHIC home anytime of the year is awesome. So, I figured if you're looking to update your home & create a more chic environment why not bring in some black & gold? Black + Gold & White + Gold scream Glamorous...and that is what I'm aiming for this Christmas season at home. Top if all off with some Nespresso coffee & you're ready for Holidays at home.

DECOR: FURRY PILLOWS

Hi everyone! How is everyone enjoying their (almost) winter season?? It is finally SNOWING here in NYC - but it's pretty wet snow, not fun! The only thing good about this cold weather is the getting cozy after escaping it!! I mean, is there really a better feeling than snuggling up in the coziest blankets and pillows with a hot cocoa in hand?!

Now, if you're going to do cozy, you should do it right!! Check out these furry & fab pillows I've selected to not only star in your snuggles, but catch everyone's attention as a chic and unique home accessory!!

My VISIT TO JULIE VOS SHOWROOM

I had the pleasure of being invited to the Julie Vos showroom to view the newest jewelry in her beautiful collection. Julie launched her collection in 2006 & is a fantastic jewelry designer, with a GREAT EYE for detail! She's based out of NYC & I couldn't wait to meet her & see my favorite pieces from the Acorn collection. Her line also includes beautiful scarves as well as a few ornate clutches.

Julie was VERY pleasant & easy-going - I had already heard so many nice things about her so I decided to bring her a gift with my visit. A gold LOVE print - to match all her pretty gold jewelry! Below is an inside look at her showroom & her office space, which I loved.  She is such an INSPIRATION to me in my own business....so thankful to have met her! All of these jewels can be found on her site here.

Some of the pieces Julie gave me - I'll be wearing these often, so I'm sure you'll be seeing them in my instagram pics! So pretty no?

Below is another fave - the gold arrowhead necklace.

Chunky gold bracelets - all available at Julie Vos

Tell me, what do you think of her pieces?

Design: Christmas at Target

Drew back, sharing with you a little Christmas time decor. I know all of you have been surrounded by advertisements of the Target and Neiman Marcus collection! I even bet some of you got up super early to dash into the store to grab some of your favorite items from some of the most well known fashion and design experts!

These are just a few of my favorites from the collection, as well as some other Target pieces that will go quite nice with your other items.

No Target in your city? Head online and get them before they're gone!

Gift Ideas with Gold Accents

Friday is here. So relieved. I think my back REALLY needs a break from my computer. Know that feeling?

On another note, it's STILL all about gold lately. It's freaking everywhere! When gold became a big hit a couple years ago, it seems I left silver & never looked back. Did you do the same???

It seems everything now comes in gold. So, with that said, here are a few suggestions for holiday gifts that are perfect for gold lovers in your life!

You ready to add some gold to your holiday list or someone else's?

No more Scrunchies. Twistband is the way to go...

I just wanted to send a BIG thanks to Jessica Frandson founder of Twistband for sending this pack of colorful twistbands my way. It was SUPER nice to open the box and also see all the colorful gumballs, nice touch! I'm chewing one right now! For those of you who haven't heard of Twistband, they are ponybands and headbands made of elastic trim.

They are stretchy and support any hairstyle, yet they are slim & sleek enough to wear on your wrist when you want to let your hair down.  I wore one to my Yoga class today & I loved it!  If you're still wearing those AWFUL scrunchies, go to Jessica's site & get some of these instead.
