Cocoa & Hearts News

Just a few days ago - I launched my newest collection of paintings in the Cocoa & Hearts gallery.... Pineapples.

The collection did so well, (13) were sold out within 22 minutes. I honestly did not know what to expect, but I'm just so grateful that God has blessed me with art that people love. In the next few days we will be adding more 11" x 14" Pineapple paintings (some pre-framed in gold ) + several abstracts. So, if you want to grab one, add your name to the mailing list on Cocoa & Hearts & stay tuned!

Hello lovelies!! It's Brooke from The Modern Sophisticate to share with you my love of abstract art.

Yesterday we did a photo shoot with most of my paintings for Cocoa & Hearts...BUT, believe it or not, we STILL need to shoot a few more.

We're definitely getting there though.....Nonetheless, I LOVE the way the paintings look in the photos, BIG smile! In fact, here's a sneak peek at some of the abstract pieces that should be available for purchase.

Elle Decor's October 2010 issue featured an artist named Thomas Nozkowski. Did you see this feature??

I'm a HUGE art lover, I find Nozkowski's work to be quite compelling! For me, the colors & the use of unusual shapes are what attracts me to his pieces. Thomas has been painting for more than 30 years....but I REALLY hope his work will be talked and written about more. Enjoy!
