As Noah grows older.... he'll need a new crib. Currently he is sleeping in a bassinet, which we love! So, next month my husband & I will be on the hunt for a crib. But not just any crib, a
Mini-crib. Because we live in a New York City apartment, things can get pretty tight. We have chosen to stick with a white crib - since the background wall is black & would provide an interesting contrast. Right now we have narrowed down our selection to 5....below are our picks. I'll be honest, we are leaning toward #2, the
Baby Letto.
I would love to hear what crib you have. Do you own a mini-crib? How long did you use it?

We have the Stokke Sleepi and have loved it for the past 2 years. My daughter is very tall and is now getting a tiny bit too big for it but I would definitely recommend it now. (It can be altered to be a toddler bed but we are just going to go directly to a regular bed when she is ready.)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if mini crib is the same as "minicuna"... because a crib could be used by a baby of 2, even 3 years... My flat is not quite big, we use a minicuna for 4 months, when baby is 6 or 7 months could be dangerous, and now we use a crib from Ikea, it is white, resistant and cheap!

Love #3 ... wish they'd had those around when my daughter was a baby!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Limestone : That's a great choice. That was our first choice i think, but a little bit more than we can spend right now.
ReplyDeleteI love them all but am always partial to the curved shape!! My next crib purchase will have to be for a grandchild!! You can't make a wrong choice! Leslie Sinclair
ReplyDeleteI have the babyletto crib and used it with both my kids. I really like it for when the babies are small, but they really grow out of it so fast. My first definitely needed a full size crib by a year. My five month old fits in it now but even she is rolling around and hitting the sides. I say get a full size crib now so you don't need to buy another in 6 months or so.
