Thankfully it's Friday....my neck needs a break from sitting at my desk! Ever get that pain in the back of your neck?? Maybe I need a new chair....
On a brighter note, I've got a really cool GIVEAWAY this weekend for all of you! I normally DON'T have giveaways & this is very rare, so please feel free to take advantage of it.
I've partnered with Royal Design Studio (who has the most amazing stencils) to do this giveaway & offer a FREE stencil to ONE LUCKY WINNER! I have to admit, I love the IDEA of stenciling a wall.
EVEN though I've NEVER done it, it's a great alternative to wallpaper. Wallpaper can be such a commitment.... but stenciling is really just paint & the stencil! Ta da, you've got a whole new look to your room or ceiling!

Tough choice I think I like Large Chez Sheik Allover the best but I also really like the allover damask large. What an amazing transformation for a room. I think I would use it for an accent wall in the bedroom or living room.
ReplyDeleteI have two favorites! The ribbon lace # 3081 would make a amazing focal point at the end of my hallway. It would really draw your eye down it. My second favorite is the Feather Damask Small # 3087S. This stencil would help complete my accent wall in my open living room/dinning room.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to choose because there are so many, but I would love to use the Large Marrakesh Allover Trellis stencil on a focal wall in my living room!
ReplyDeleteI love the chez sheik pattern. I would use it in my guest bathroom on the wall behind my sink. I would do use this pattern in a light gray blue and white color scheme.
ReplyDeleteSmall Ribbon Damask would be my choice adn I really want to try to take a t-shirt and bleach the pattern instead of painting...then there is no telling what else I would want to use it for! They are really all quite wonderful.

ReplyDeleteGreat contest! I've had my eye on the "Moroccan Stencil Chez Sheik Allover" for a while and I love both the large and small. I rent and can't paint my walls, so I'm planning to either paint a large board to use as sort of a head board or from the board and use it as an inspiration mood board.

ReplyDeleteLove many of the stencils in the Elegant Elements category. Overall, I would love to use the Moorish Trellis on two walls in my home office. Thanks for this post, I had not known of Royal Design Studio prior to now. Awesome selection at great prices over there!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an amazing site, I LOVE the stencils, I could use them all over!! My son is 6 months old and I am decorating his room this weekend, it's been too cold for him to have his own room but it's time now! I think he would love the Japanese Flower Garden A 2081 on the wall. I'm a designer and I take him into work sometimes and he loves to look at the patterns we design, he gets so excited by them - his little arms and legs start waving and kicking as he wants to touch them, I think he would love to lay in his crib and look out on the cool patterns and when he can crawl and walk, I'm pretty sure he will try to grab them off the wall! ha ha. I love reading your blog, I love interior design but we rent at the moment so I am not able to paint and do all the stuff I want!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly decide! I think I want the Moorish Trellis Large or the Indian Paisley Damask. I would do my bedroom or a long wall in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteLarge Marrakesh Allover Trellis stencil is exactly what I need to take my white french provincial dresser to a chocolate brown base with white trellis. The dresser will sit across the room from a red sofa with deep purple and hot pink accents. A bright yellow chinese tea set will sit atop the dresser. Striking, unique, and fun...I hope!
ReplyDeleteI love the Pro Moorish Trellis and the Moroccan Stencil: Endless Circle Lattice
ReplyDeleteWell, the moorish trellis stencil I LOVE seems to be very popular. I have a regular size fireplace, but with the built-in next to it, the wall above my fireplace is very large. I really can't afford a huge painting and a mirror just wouldn't look graat (nothing good to reflect) I think that the moorish trellis would be awesome to give pattern to that huge wall space and allow me to put a smaller picture. I just love your designs.
ReplyDeleteSo I have been dreaming about the Chez Sheik stencil since I saw it a few days ago and I have an addition to make to my post on Feb. 16: After painting the table runner for my wedding reception, I would use the stencil to paint the ceiling in my bathroom. The walls are Kelly green and I use silver and white accents throughout the bathroom, so I would love to paint the pattern in silver over the already white ceiling. Then I would hang a beaded chandelier, which I am currently making, in the center where the light fixture is now!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these! I would use Moorish Trellis around my fireplace and maybe on the doors of a cabinet! Love love love! Pick me!!
ReplyDeletemoorish trellis for sure, in the bathroom! love it in the charcoal/black combo pictured! Thanks for the link to the site! This seems so much more fun than wallpapering!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! What a great way to add spark to a room. I <3 the Allover Pattern Stencil: Moorish Trellis in Large. It would definitely give my living room more umph!
ReplyDeleteSo, I have been dreaming about the Chez Sheik pattern since I saw it the other day and I have an addition to my earlier post from Feb. 16: Once I paint the pattern on a runner for my wedding reception, I will use the stencil to paint my bathroom ceiling. The walls are kelly green and I have silver and white accents throughout. I would love to paint the Chez Sheik pattern in silver on the white ceiling and hang a chandelier that I am currently making from the center!
