DIY Headboard Project by Brooke....
Here's a great tutorial for those of you looking to make a really cool HEADBOARD that makes a statement! Brooke of the All Things Thrifty Blog did just that for her master bedroom! I was so IMPRESSED by the look of this that I had to share it with all of you! For those of you thinking of giving this a shot, remember... you can choose any fabric you like and make it even larger as well! For ALL the step-by-step instructions check out her blog here.

I've just taken on a huge project with re-upholstering a chair!!! I'm so worried.
I saw this a while back, but I am still in Awe when I see it, amazing what you an go when you put your mind to it.

wow! this headboard is amazing! At first seems too complicated for a DIY, but actually it's always like this! In fact it's so easy, I'd give it a try and hope I'll not turn everything into a big mess :)

I love how she used different patterns but kept the same color scheme. The end result looks fantastic.
i might just do this! thanks for posting about it-i have never seen this and it is truly stunning. if i end up tackling this project i'll let you know-it will probably be more of a modern take on the original. yay!

Unfortunately I can't picture myself doing it - thought I wish I could! Looks gorgeous. I have a platform bed that looks similar, without the pattern...this would be a great way for someone to spice up a plain mattress! xxSAS

This is on my to-do list, but the list is soooo long that I have no idea when I'll get around to it. We just finished renovating our sunporch into an office so maybe I'll move this to the top of the to-do list ;)
