What style is this??
I've seen this home before on other blogs and I adore the hints of COLOR and mix & match colorful fabrics! What would you call this style of decor? Bohemian chic? or something else?? I'm curious... All images via the wonderful location website Light Locations.
Modern romantic? I just made that up. =) It's gorgeous. I think I enlarged and drooled over most of them!
ReplyDeleteBohemian chic sounds about right, maybe relaxed chic (or is that just for fashion style), love the colour combo, pale pastels with white, love the vintage furnishings too! Great post!
ReplyDeleteI think the first three with the chandelier, the tub and the ceiling detail would be Modern Victorian--the rest of the shots seem to missing the formal elements although I love the pretty pastels with the white.
ReplyDeletei heard this definition on another blog...traditional glamor with vintage undertones. i think it could be used nicely here also.
ReplyDeleteI agree, its sort of modern Victorian if that even is something.
ReplyDeleteI love it though, white white with splashes of color.
I'd call it, Just Damn Cool. Kidding... I like Bohemian Chic
ReplyDeletehaha I had that house feautured in my blog as well.
ReplyDeleteI woul call it "simple eclectic"
for it really combines everything, modern, luxurious, traditional, and so on.
So much eye candy! I would call it vintage but I like Bohemian chic as well.
ReplyDeleteWhatever!
ReplyDeleteSo Pretty!
I loved every detail!

You should ask Kristen over at Simply Grove. She is having style tests and diagnosing peoples style.
ReplyDeleteI would go with Modern Romantic. It's similar to Gwyneth Paltrow's style and she called it Modern Romantic.
ReplyDeleteSo eclectic. I say modern romantic too.
ReplyDeleteshabby chic, romantic and eclectic chic mix!
ReplyDeletei luv it!
whatever the name is...everything's fabulous!!!
ReplyDeletehey there GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeletei wrote in my blog today.... would love to see you again.

Sorry I can't help you with the title, but it's definitely gorgeous...and I would like to move in!
ReplyDeleteI would call it ME! Love it. I need your design help, sister. C'mon over when you get a minute, por favor:)
ReplyDeleteI want that pink bed. Just need the house first but one can dream. Carla x
ReplyDeleteso pretty, i love them all!!
ReplyDeletesome look very "shabby chic!"
I would say Bohemian Chic. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh! I really like this style. I don't believe I've ever seen interior designs like these before. I really like the bedroom with splashes of pink-- the one with a peacock and hearts!
ReplyDeletethese are BEAUTIFUL. they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, love them all. It's very much old moviestar over the first images. I would go for 'bohemian chic' seems to cover it.
ReplyDeletemy first thought was modern victorian - or updated victorian....i kinda just made that up...now to read the comments everyone else left :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! Lovely post!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to have found your blog!
Great xmas cards too :)
I want that peacock wall hanging! Any idea where that came from?
ReplyDeleteI want that pinkish bedroom with all the mirrored doors with hearts on them. Sooo me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments on what STYLE this might be...! : )
ReplyDeleteI would agree with those who said BOHEMIAN CHIC..
Its kind of casual, mixed match and romantic.. with splashes of color as accents.
My 2nd guess would have been SHABBY CHIC... : )
ReplyDeleteHIYA SIDNEY,
ReplyDeleteI don't know where the Peacock hanging is from unfortunately.... It is really cute though!
it's almost like a new version of 50's glamour with some shabby chic and eclectic modern additions ...it's great though.
ReplyDeletei'd call it wonderful-amazing-makes-me-giddy-I-love-it-so-much style.
ReplyDeletemodern eccentric? haha not sure but I do know these rooms are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone suggested 'Vintage Glamour'? It's not particularly an original phrase, but it does seem to cover both the quirky pops of color, the slight antiquey feel to some of the pieces, and the shiny shimmery wonderfulness that runs throughout...
ReplyDeleteThese are breathtaking! I want to slip into this world :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! So incredibly gorgeous. I'll be saving all those pics! I think it's a mixture of Romantic, Vintage and Shabby Chic.
ReplyDeleteWow love your photos and blog!
ReplyDeleteI need feedback I am renting a cottage and it has dark pine paneling yuck! I am a renter and cannot paint!
I would call it Bohemian chic fusion. :)
ReplyDeletei'd say spare chic...the lack of plush details you usually find with shabby chic are absent. the same feel is there, just cleaner and less fussy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with City Sage "vintage glamour". I love the peacock print I need that!
ReplyDeletethe first two pics made me think Baroque chic, but i think im just making stuff up at this point!! lovely lovely either way :)
ReplyDeleteI would just call it beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting mix of styles.
OMG - that chandelier up top is INSANE!
ReplyDeleteI would say it's eclectic, a little mix of modern with vintage pieces. Some pictures do remind me of a "shabby chic"..either way it's beautiful and exactly my style as well!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your blog. This is my first time visiting <3
