Reinvention, NOT Restoration

This is some creative upholstery.... but before these Victorian pieces were bright and cheery, they were worn down and some even torn. The antique furniture was bought on Craigslist, believe it or not. The pieces were then re-invented by NYC based company, (Custom Design Studio) when they refinished the dark wood frames in vivid colors and replaced the upholstery with bold patterned fabrics.   2. i saw these in the new issue of Home issue. wonder how difficult it would be to upholster a chair?
    Been thinking about doing it with an old similar victorian chair i have.
