12 Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Hello everyone!!!

It's almost the end of April & guess what? Mother's day next month! I know some of you may be wondering....what in the world do I get mom??? Or the wife?   - Often times even my husband will be at a loss what to get his own mom or me on Mom's day!  So, if you're like my husband and not so good at figuring those things out, I'm here to give you a few ideas.

Fashion: How To Wear a Pussy-Bow Shirt

Hello MadeByGirl readers! Sandra from Blasfemmes here with a trend for those of us who are into a chic and versatile way to doll up our wardrobes this fall: the pussy-bow shirt. I'm a BIG fan of Paperless Post. If you haven't heard about this site,  Paperless Post helps you create online & paper stationery that reflects your individual aesthetic. They have many different styles to choose from & you can choose to send both online & through snail mail (the old fashion way).

I love the new shoe trend of mules and those color block and blue ones below are definitely on my wishlist! The snake trend pattern is popping up in all the Spring collections and a pair of flat sandals are a perfect way to add that trend every day. What about a neutral open toe bootie? One thing to keep an eye out for this Spring is the floral trend. Well, actually it's printed fabric,  shoes, clothing and so on. Prints, prints & patterns galore..... So, with that said, I gathered some of my favorite pieces. I said favorite, not necessarily that I would DARE wear...and you????

My visit to Kate Spade Madison Ave.

Visited the Kate Spade store on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side last week & woahhh.
It's about 4-5 floors full of hot pink & gold goodness! It was Kate Spade heaven - so pretty & well put together - I didn't want to leave. The minute I walked in,  I was greeted by the gal near the doorway & then by the neon signs spelling out in various colors, "Why hello there" & "Fancy meeting you here" - an interesting welcome don't you think? The detailing is genius as usual with the Kate Spade brand, from the clothes hangers, to the bow tie bathroom tiles!

This town home on Madison Avenue appears to have previously been a residence, because it even has a patio balcony with windows facing the outside street! My visit was very pleasant, I even ran into the manager who recognized me from my blog, SO cute!  What item did I like best?? I'd say the Live Colorfully Eau Da Parfum, it is now on my wishlist. Smells so good! You must stop by!

Hi everyone! Adri here of Adri's World. It's been so cold this winter that I honestly can't wait for Spring.  A big trend for Spring are FLORALS, and I love a floral shirt that can be styled many different ways. Here are two great options, a pretty and colorful look that can be worn to a brunch or a day out and an edgy and leather look for a date night or cocktails with friends.

By adding colored pants and pretty accessories the look is very feminine and soft. Switch the pastel pants for leather pants add black and white sandals, edgy accessories and a fringe clutch and you are ready for a night out and your look is completely different.

Hi everyone, its Carlinn here with some bright neon fashion inspiration! Neon is a trend that is definitely not ready to bow out yet and we are so glad.
