V-DAY...

Other people's LOVE letters
I bought this book a week ago and was finally able to finish reading it yesterday. Its the coolest book....its funny, touching and captivating. It inspired me to share a personal post-it note (green one down below) my guy left for me at one point. He wrote me many, but I'll share this one for now. I recommend this book if you're curious to see what others express in letters, text messages and email. They are other people's intimate LOVE letters.... and they've decided to share them with the world. The book is called " Other People's Love Letter" -'150 letters you were never meant to see'. Available at your local bookstore.
People We LOVE
I came across this site "The Ones we LOVE" via one of my favorite blogs, A Cup of Joe. This site is so well put together and all about the ones we love. It highlights quite a few talented photographers and each of these talents contributes 6 photos of the person who is the MOST important to them! The portraits are mostly shot outside and each photographer writes an intro about that shoot or person...some are very sweet and some are obviously not so....perhaps some heartbreak?? Take a look for yourself. Some samples of what some of the shooters wrote about their subject. I fell in love with this site and actually went through every single name.....!

Hannah Kaminsky is the brains and the photographer behind Bittersweet Blog. She's also the author of a cute little book called 'My Sweet Vegan'. She shows you how to create some amazing vegan desserts while making it all super creative! Here are samples of her work, how talented is she?? She shoots and cooks! Check out her site as well: My Sweet Vegan. Its so refreshing to see more young people making healthy foods. How about making one of these for your lover on Vday??
