ART: Ombre Hearts Available!!

Time is so precious these days. If I stay still I feel like I am either going to fall ASLEEP or die of boredom! So, I keep moving. Ever feel like that?

Anyway, with some time on my hands, I managed to paint (2) more pieces yesterday!
The Ombre' Hearts original paintings have now been added to my online gallery! We no longer have a timer, so you can buy at your own convenience as well as choose the frame style you like, directly off the site. These watercolor+acrylic pieces are 30"x37" and are so much PRETTIER in person, I guarantee you!

I think they would look FAB in a home office, or in a nursery. The Ombre Hearts painting represents many things, but it is mostly a happy painting - that reminds me that we do NOT have to be PERFECT......hence the imperfect details on the hearts. Hope you like them!

You can see them both here.

If you are looking to commission a painting, please contact Jen with more details. Include measurements, colors & style you would like.

Design: Throwback of My Apartment

Earlier this year, I was featured in a popular Decor magazine called Casa e Jardim from Brazil.

I don't believe I ever shared all these photos on my blog....so I wanted to post them today.  The photos were shot earlier this year when Noah was much younger & wasn't standing or walking yet...hence, why the coffee table is styled so nicely in the pic below! Ha! These days, the apartment is not as nicely decorated because having a toddler changes everything! Simple things like a glass vase are now considered "armed & dangerous." haha

This apartment holds so many memories but one of my favorites was decorating it.  I hope my home decor will inspire you! Please feel free to pin these pics!

LUX/EROS CERAMICS

Hey everyone! I'm still here...but been busier these days on my instagram to tell you the truth. Ha! Anyway,  I found this cute California based company I wanted to share. It's called Lux Eros.

LUX / EROS is a lifestyle brand & design studio by creative consultant Desanka N. Fasiska. They create handmade ceramics and textiles for the home. The ceramics are so interesting & chic looking, reminds me a bit of the Kelly Wearstler home stuff.  These are chunky & unique pieces, I bet they would definitely strike up a conversation at any dinner gathering don't you think?  My favorite piece from her collection is the Golden Kiss Vessel.

What's yours?

See You at West Elm

Are you ready for tomorrow's West Elm event here in NYC?  I'll be hosting it!

It's going to be a simple, yet fun DIY - plus there will be lots of sweet treats & hot chocolate on hand for you to enjoy! Great way to start off the Holiday season no??

The event will start at 6:30 at the West Elm Broadway store but will also be hosted at other stores like Scarsdale, Dumbo, Chelsea, Fenway & more.  Keep in mind - I will NOT be hosting those other events.  However, at the event tomorrow we're going to be giving away (2) framed Cocoa & Hearts paintings to (2) lucky winners!! So, don't miss out!

Speaking of 2....here is how I styled a hot chocolate & dessert table for 2.  I used all West Elm dinnerware on top of my beautiful marble oval coffee tableOne of my favorite pieces for the table styling, was the gold napkin ring set that West Elm has right now, you can see them below! Many of you were asking about the mugs I painted - they were inspired by my popular color series artwork via my Cocoa & Hearts gallery.

I'm so grateful to be collaborating with West Elm - thank you so much W/E!

Maybe we'll see you at the event tomorrow??
