TREND: OVER-THE-KNEE BOOT

The over-the-knee boot trend is one of my faves. I used to think this look looked too"Pretty Woman" & wasn't that fond of it. But as the years have gone by & countless fashion bloggers have worn this style, I've learned to love them. I own a pair but they are a bit narrow in the tow area for me, so I don't wear them too often.

I would love to invest in some comfy ones (if even possible) so that I could wear them with a pair of skinny jeans.  My all time favorite are the pricey ones called the 'HIGHLAND' by Stuart Weitzman they run about $800.  Gulp, I know. But they DEF look the best in my opinion.

Tell me, are you into the over-the-knee trend this Fall?? Which is your fave?

BOOK REVIEW: ART & SOLE

Even though this book was published last year, I wanted to give to review it - so one of my contacts sent this copy my way. Art & Sole is probably one of the prettiest books I've reviewed. With it's bright red cover & gold edged pages, it's a must-have coffee table book. The book introduces us to Jane Weitzman, wife of shoe designer Stuart Weitzman.  This 208 page book features 150 fantasy art shoes made of interestingly unique materials she has discovered and commissioned by artists over the last years for the Stuart Weitzman display windows. Each shoe is featured with it's own caption and impeccable design. You are also able to find more in depth description as well as a bio of the artist that created the shoe. Pretty genius idea! The ideal book for shoe lovers

Here's an IDEA:  This is a great book for shoe lovers and makes a nice gift to a best friend, but also makes a great gift to brides maids at weddings!

My Stuart Weitzman wedding shoes arrived....

I got engaged on Aug. 2nd & now it's off to plan a wedding. I'm a pretty simple girl, you see, I'd like something small, pretty & budget friendly. I only plan on splurging on 3-4 items & shoes was one of them. These lovely heels by Stuart Weitzman (whom I love), will be for the big day. As of now, the wedding colors will be a lime green & white, so I may end up dying these shoes in a pretty lime green....still undecided! Anyhow, I just wanted to share this with all of you, & wish you all a beautiful loooooong weekend!
