Fashion: Fedora

Hi - it's Casie Mace! It's Monday morning & I'm back to talk Fashion. I must admit, I used to be afraid to incorporate the fedora into my daytime wear. It just seemed like too much of an attention grabber (for lack of a better term) and I'd never been much of a hat-wearer in general. But after seeing enough inspiration and playing with different fedora sizes, I'm hooked!!!

Fedoras are SUCH a fun way to look like you put some thought into your outfit on those days when it's the last thing you want to do. Jeans + a T-shit kind of day? Add a darker straw one! Maxi dress with little embellishment? Add a light one!

Is this one of your favorite trends already or have you been shying away? Will you take the plunge now?

Design: Tribal Trend

If you haven't already noticed, the TRIBAL TREND is in!

Welcome back! Drew here, showing you exactly what tribal pieces you should incorporate into your decor, as well as in your kitchen!

Anthropologie is my number one spot to find home decor and they just so happen to be filled with strong, graphic prints that emulate the tribal culture. Adding these elements to your home conveys a warm and earthy tone look, while also providing an exotic twist.

Take a look!

Design: Tablescapes

Spring is finally upon us and there are so many tablescapes to start decorating for. It's Drew, showing you the basics to a simple table setup for your upcoming bridal showers, Easter brunches and other get togethers you are hosting as an excuse to break out your favorite china and colorful centerpieces.
With this tablescape, I was inspired by the new products offered at Zara Home.

If you haven't visited the site, you will definitely want to make a stop to admire all of the beautiful goodness it has to offer.

I used a colorful palette of corals, peaches, pinks and mint. For the accents, stemware and silverware I chose gold to give it a vintage, luxe feel. I think the contrast works really well for a spring tablescape.

All from Zara Home 1) vase 2) candle 3)charger 4) plates 5) silverware 6) tumbler 7) goblet 8) napkins 9) chair 10) pillow 11) flowers Hope this helps in creating the perfect look as you host your spring soirée for all of the wonderful women in your life.
