Beauty: Holiday Gift Guide

Hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday Season! Monica here from Beauty Parler. If you're like me I tend to wait last minute to buy gifts. But, I seriously need to change that habit as most beauty gifts sell out quick. For any beauty aficionado this is the season to do some serious shopping and I mean for yourself too. Stock up on your favourite makeup products because it's the best time to find deals and kits that aren't normally offered throughout the year.

For example, the Charlotte Tilbury 'The Bombshell' Set is almost a complete full-face set minus a foundation at an exceptional value versus buying the items separately. Items like makeup brushes are another great add to your wish-list. Sigma Brushes (as pictured) are a great gift for a teen or young adult who is looking to start a makeup kit without breaking the bank.

Can't forget those work parties and Secret Santa exchange. Co-workers love hand creams and lipbalms. Kiehl's is my go-to source in that department. Love the Kiehl's #1 Lip Balm, perfect for dry cracked Winter lips. For the lipstick lovers at the office or a great hostess gift, the Clinique 'Days of the Week' Matte lipstick set if a fabulous gift.

It's Lisa from Gem Daily with another dose of decor, especially for this freezing cold gift giving holiday season upon us.  I am one of those holiday gift givers that really loves to hunt for the perfect gift for someone and I really really love to gift wrap! There are so many amazing options out there that can transform a BORING present to something so PRETTY and unique that the recipient won't even want to open it up!

I especially love when the gift wrap isn't so literal and in-your-face holiday, like the super trendy marbled paper or a polka-dotted bow. As long as the components of your gift wrap are in holiday colors, you can totally pull together a combination that looks complete and finished.

Chic Gifting + Wishlist

I always like thinking about what I'm going to GIVE & what I'd like to RECEIVE for the Holidays. I know it's already going to be November, but my husband is already asking, "So, what do you want for Christmas Jen?"  I figured I'd get started now, but I also think gifting something to myself isn't out of the question. My husband recently bought this Stella McCartney bra for my BIRTHDAY, but I think it was more of a gift for him ha! It is gorgeous!

They have a bunch of unique & fund styles that you can't find at stores like Victoria's Secret. Don't get me wrong,  I like VS - but Journelle has one-of-a-kind pieces. My faves are the see through ones - they make me feel the sexiest!

I'm back. It's been a crazy few days here in NYC - we are all literally recovering from Hurricane Sandy still.  email & phone service were off & on - so work at home was a bit challenging at times. However, we are fine (thank God) compared to so many people. I'll write more about my week in my next post

Thanks Coco...(Via Made By Girl)

I'm so glad it's Friday....and to top things off I got a surprise MASSAGE waiting for me at a local spa tonight (compliments of my guy)....oh & I received a surprise GIFT in my mailbox!

My GUY actually did the WEB DESIGN for the Coco Cozy shop (great job) & she was so gracious enough to send me the throw as a THANK YOU for introducing her to him!
