Welcome back! Thanks for popping back in this Monday to read my blog! Hope you enjoyed your weekend! The weather has been so amazing here in Nevada, awfully warm for this time of year which is unusual, but I'm not complaining.
On another note, last week a reader directed me to El Mueble, a Spanish magazine. I love being introduced to new magazines...and the minute I hear about one I CAN'T WAIT to visit the site!
Most of the time I'm impressed while other times I'm left feeling a bit DISAPPOINTED with the content. However, El Mueble was a pleasant surprise! Even though I don't have a physical copy it was great to be able to skim through their site!
Don't you love that most magazines have websites these days?

Hi Jen. Mueble means furniture or cabinet not sofa.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
Hi, Jen!
ReplyDeleteI love this magazine.
(Actually, "mueble" means "piece of furniture")
:)
I buy a very wide variety of Home magazines and El Meuble is one that is right at the top of my list of favourites. I have been purchasing it here in Australia for 2 years now and refer back to it often. I just wish I culd understand the text!

El mueble has such a great taste! I've been checking it for inspiration quite a time now.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that not all magazines cannot be found in the web in 2011.. it's like having a b&w tv program in the 90ies.. pity
I adore finding out about new resources for inspiration and this looks like it'll be a gold mines worth!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
ReplyDeleteYou had me at... those fantastic and vibrant tiles in the kitchen!! Thanks for the introduction :)
Northern Light
Hi Jen! "Mueble" sounds just like the swedish word "mƶbler", which means furniture - maybe not such a swedish word after all then, I guess;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos...that chevron print in the kitchen is amazing! So bold!
ReplyDeleteI love these spaces, so adorable and chic!
ReplyDeleteCome check out my blog, I am doing a giveaway!

ReplyDeleteLove these photos, great inspiration. Are you in Southern or Northern Nevada? I'm in Reno and the weather here has me aching for spring. It's such a tease!
ReplyDeleteHello pretty lady, :-)
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing today?
I've never heard of this magazine and I'm like you, I just love finding out about new magazines and yes, the size is important... the size of the pictures that is! :-)
I hope you have a very blessed week and have fun in the sun. I'm freezing here today at -32C! Yep! You heard me!

MOONINMYGARDEN: I'm actually in southern part...the weather has been quite nice lately. Yes, it does fluctuate every so often here too.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I love magazines. I just wrote a post about issuu on my blog. Because international magazines are pretty expensive here in Germany I love that website. Because you get to flip through all kinds of magazines.....
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Yvonne
Beautiful magazine. Didn't know it existed. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteLovely...Yes, mueble means furniture...at least this is the only definition I've ever known. I love these spaces...they have some a great contradiction of modern and warmth. AND I swear the mirror, in the bedroom, is almost identical to one my mother has.
ReplyDeletethat kitchen is one of the best I've seen in a while--so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you write it "meuble", it means furniture in French!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, nices blog, congrats! I'll certainly come around again! El Mueble is a well known deco mag in Spain, I also like iy (by the way...in Spain you would NEVER! say mueble for a sofa or a place to sit, never!! mueble is just and only a piece of furniture ...in fact a sofa is a "mueble", but also chairs, tables, etc are all of them "muebles"....

ReplyDeleteHi from Spain! I follow your blog because your work and feedback is fantastic! I was very surprised to see El Mueble. This magazine is really cool and i like it very much. As Laura said "mueble" is furniture. Never a sofa. But it´s not so important at all, if serve to leave a comment welcome the mistake!
ReplyDeleteKisses from Madrid!
Hello Ladies, I understand that mueble means furniture in Spain. But what I was saying was in my dads country, Santo Domingo they refer to a sofa as a mueble. ;))).
ReplyDeleteThat op image of the kitchen is great and with the rough flooring and the exposed wood beams it's just the kind of thing I like to highlight at my blog http://unpolished-life.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks for an inspiring post!
