My Foyer.....(Via Made By Girl)

Ok, so here's a look at my foyer. When I thought about DECORATING this area, I knew I wanted something simple, yet GLAMOROUS looking!!

WHAT'S MISSING?!?!? Flowers!

Trust me, I realize I NEED a pop of color, so I'll be buying fresh flowers every week to place on the console. I REALLY think flowers will brighten things up!

The cool black & silver studded lamp is from Home Goods & the 2 drawer console table is from Target. The Atoll mirror is even more pretty in person....from Ballard Designs

PIGGY is by designer Harry Allen via Areaware.

Above: Yes, I did say I had high ceilings throughout my house, especially in my entryway. That's my front door....it's such a cool and tall arched door, I love it.

Originally, I thought of buying a WHITE console, but I think that would've been overkill! I absolutely love the ZEBRA hide rug, it makes the entryway look even more dramatic and it helps protect my floors when my DOGS run down to the foyer! Let me know what you think...I'll be reading!!

  4. Yum! I'm a big fan of the high ceilings. Great look with the zebra rug. Is it secured to the floor somehow?

Flowers would def do the trick! Loving the horsehair brush, too!

  10. It looks gorgeous! I'm so envious of your high ceilings and white walls. I have a piece from the same line as your Target console, but changed the knobs with Anthropologie ones. It added lots of interest. Just a tip :)

  21. Jen..youve done a fantastic job..LOVE IT..and yes your right..a pop of colour is all it needs..and flowers are perfect...I was going to suggest something glass...just to add another texture to the arrangement as it always looks so perfect teamed up with black..perhaps a glass vase with flowers?

Something under the console would look kinda cool too...an umbrella stand? or basket or small rustic wooden stool..to compliment your earthy African pieces on your console?

Glad you found the perfect spot for your piggy :)

Love the way its all coming together..you are getting through so much in such a small space of time..awesome job honey xo

  64. I love your entry, very dramatic. I really adore the mirror. Would you consider putting an uphostered x stool under the table in a bright color such as pink or yellow. It is nice to have a seat in the entry.

  77. Oh how fun to be decorating your new place! I have to say the foyer is GREAT Jen! Fresh flowers will really make that console pop!

Even a house plant (to save on the $ of buying flowers weekly) would look great on the console table in a colorful pot, or even a neutral one would make the green of the plant really shine!

The zebra rug is perfection. What a score on that cute lamp too!
