The New York Times always amazes me with their Home & Garden section. For example, this huge residence (once a church) in the city.....wow. Can you imagine what it's like to live there? Do you notice how you can look out the large window while in the shower? Gorgeous, barely describes it.
The house itself is so, so stunning!

ReplyDeleteIncredible! I cant wait to buy a house and unleash my creativity on it!
ReplyDeleteOMG; marvelous house!
ReplyDeleteOh my. That bedroom. And that deck off the bedroom. And the fact that the front is such an old traditional building (a church no less!), and then there's this modern vibe inside...Just wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous home, love it!
ReplyDeleteI like how the outside is quite different from the inside, but both equally lovely. It almost feels like you are opening a present. I love how minimalist and tasteful everything is. Love the open space, oh and the chandelier is such a nice contrast to the sofa (is that purple?)
ReplyDeletebeautiful house.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering... when can I move in?
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely breathtaking! I envy the person that gets to call that place home!
ReplyDeleteHi I'm lucy, I do not like the minimalist style, but this loft, I change my mind. It is very beautiful, I loved it, I would like one!
ReplyDeleteIt is divine! In fact, I would start singing hymns and saying my prayers every night just to have a chance of living there! Wow!
ReplyDeleteMY FAVORITE & MY BEST:
ReplyDeleteYes that is correct, the POOPER is in plain view Ha! ....but I would still take this place as is if they gave it to me! :)

ReplyDelete'cept you have no leeway on lazy hop-out-of-your-clothes-and-leave-them-on-the-bedroom-floor days; you can see everything. tidy tidy up, houseowners.

ReplyDeletethat patio is begging for a few twinkly lights and a little cocktail party!

Given the volume, it will naturally look amazing and would be a great space to live in but from a design perspective, the scheme is so safe, bit ho hum in my opinion, it leaves me feeling cold, I felt the designer/owner could have pushed it futher, been a bit bolder. The furniture for instance seems to shrink and looks out of proprotion with the scale of the place. In a space like this the furniture should have as much presence as the architecture.
ReplyDeleteconverted spaces never cease to fascinate me! gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletethe light in this place is absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am in shock and awe. I've never seen something even remotely as gorgeous...and to be in NYC! This is stunning.
ReplyDeleteTHis is amazing. I want it, so bad. Can't imagine what the pricetag would be on this place however!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely breathtaking
ReplyDeleteIf I was going to live in NYC this is where I would want to be. So beautiful. Amazing...wonder what it costs??
