Michelle of Rubie Greenhas some of the prettiest & most refreshing fabrics out there. She lives in a tiny (but stylish) apartment in Harlem, New York & was featured in the most recent issue of Real Living Australia. I'm currently looking to reupholster the headboard in my main guest bedroom & I'dL-O-V-E three yds of the 'Marilyn' or 'Patsy' fabrics! Oh....should I spend the $ ?? They're so stunning!! Do any of you own Rubie Green Fabric??? If so, which??
That headboard is amazing. I've just had a look at the two fabrics and they are both beautiful, but I have to say I prefer the Marilyn. If you have the money, I would deifinitely go for it. I'd love to see some pictures when you've finished as well.
If I had the extra $ I would totally buy the fabric. So cute!!!! Both are fabulous. I think I like the light blue only because its my second fav color. Tough decision!
BTW, come enter my giveaway contest. It started today.
I love this place! It really feels stylish and cozy :) I love when there are many books and magazines lying around, I have a couple of piles on the floor, but it is harder to clean this way unfortunately :)
same here, i want to have a copy of the magazine, and a tour in her flat. it's so cool to see how creative people can get with their small living spaces. now i'm off to london again (talking about small living spaces!) and will try to find this magazine. have a lovely day all of you!
Oh I love Michelle's apartment and her range of Rubie Green fabrics, they are delicious! I have cushions in meagan and raspberry in east village, and would love her doona cover in pink in east village. x
You should absolutely go for it! I just swoon every time I see really lovely fabric. I have a whole collection of fabric that sits in a box (I can't really sew), but it was too lovely to pass up!
WOW!! Thank you THANK YOU Jennifer for this post!! What an incredible surprise to pop by and see my home featured on your blog :D You totally made my day, and all these amazing comments totally made MY YEAR!! Thank you so much everybody- I cannot tell you how much it means to me :)
I love Rubie Green! I had a lamp shade made up in the Tillinghast fabric for my daughters room but after receiving this issue of RL I moved it onto a different lamp base that is very similar to Michelle's, and I love it!
I want to get some cushions made up in her fabrics, and I'd love her pink zig zag bedding.
it's beautiful! if you have the $$, do it! :)

Thx for sharing this article. I need to start picking up international home magazines again...now that America is losing so many.
