Did I just go Orla Kiely?!?!?!? How did this happen? Anyhow, I was at a Target superstore here in Las Vegas and came across quite a few of her things. I was looking for bins that had nice colors....and these were the only ones that stood out, so I bought 5. I admit, I'm not a huge fan (yet) of her line, however, I do like some of her designs & colors. For example, these are some of my favorites below. I really LOVE how they look in my office! AND....I am kind of digging this tote below, I found it at Daytrip Society. I also put up my curtains, you can see them in the first pic (black & white fabric).
I really wish that Canada had a Target - we are really missing out!!
ReplyDeletethese really look great, and i am betting the price was right!
ReplyDeleteNice boexes, at least they are not boring...
ReplyDeleteI bought a bin today also for my office! and one of the tumblers for pens!
ReplyDeleteYou did! I just got a few things too - a salad bowl which I'm using for fruit and then a some tumblers.
ReplyDeletewhat are they made of? i've browsed target for bins before and it seems like the sturdy ones are butt ugly and the pretty ones are totally flimsy. how do these rate? i love them, they're super cute! i could use some of those in my studio...
ReplyDeleteA Target Superstore sounds heavenly, and I must have those brown boxes-so cute!
ReplyDeletei have to say that i have mixed feelings about her collection-some of the designs are really great but the colors don't pop out at me like i wish they did. still, i'm sure i'll be stopping by target and checking out her goodies soon!
ReplyDeletei am an orla kiely fan but i admit i am not in love with her target line either- its a little too retro feeling to me with the avocado, orange, and brown. i wish she did some of the products in her signature stem print (white with all the colorful leafs) but beggars can't be choosers!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog and your lovely products. I am so excited to decorate my house and make some purchases from you! I love your price points!
ReplyDeleteSWEET NOTHINGS: Nice:) Weird...I didn't see any tumblers - just office supplies and laundry bags...
ReplyDeleteKJOHNSON;
ReplyDeleteThank you- so glad you found me. : )
DROLLGIRL:
ReplyDeleteYes the prices were pretty good, ranging from $8.00-$20 for the office -storage bins. : )
SWEETER THAN ME:
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what they're made of, but they are pretty darn sturdy. They have a fabric feel to them on the outside as well as inside. Definitely the best I saw at Target. : )
INDECOR:
ReplyDeleteTarget superstore, they didn't have one in my immediate neighborhood. So I had to drive like 10 minutes....but I love that BIG Target, they have everything there, even food!
These look great. I really love the Orla Kiely range for Heals in the UK - a little more expensive, but fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI adore Orla in any shape or form. Those boxes look great!
ReplyDeletelove the tote!!
ReplyDelete& the artwork from suspect shoppe is beautiful
I did the same thing, but I have the matching laundry bag to your paper boxes, and the matching dish towels to your fabric box!
ReplyDeletethat tote is amazing. i love those patterns....
ReplyDeleteI dip in and out of Orla Kiely prints, I think that's how my interest in her patterns has survived...
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the club!
ReplyDeleteoohhh- is that tote available in Target? I checked their website, but to no avail?
ReplyDeleteI love it!
