POSTED JANUARY 2011- My Las Vegas Home
BELOW PHOTOS WERE POSTED APRIL 15 2008
Here's a peek at some of the rooms in my home. I'm still decorating the other areas like the guest bedrooms and the master bathroom as well as my office. I'm always curious to see where others call home, so I thought I'd share mine with you. Please feel free to leave your comments.
It's been a real challenge decorating my home, being that it's very cookie-cutter in style, so I try my best to make the inside of my home reflect my personality!

I love your dog! I have a boxer named Layla. I bet Layla & Darla would be great friends:)
ReplyDeleteLove everything! Question: how do you keep the sofa white with 2 big dogs? I have a Weim, (profile pic) and out of fear, I bought a chocolate brown sofa. It's impossible to keep her off it while I'm gone unless I remember to stack the cusions. I would love to have white furniture! Tell me how you do it!
ReplyDeleteOlá jen, adorei a sua casa! Principalmente o seu sofá francês... e bem tudo o resto!! Espero que corra tudo pelo melhor.

ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog (which I LOVE!) for a while and recently discovered Pinterest and had gone through and "pinned" a few photos of your gorgeous home for inspiration (we're buying a home and I'm trying to figure out what scheme I want in each room) and then I read to the end of your home post about not using your photos! I absolutely didn't mean to "take them" and wanted to know if that was alright that I pinned them. If not, I will remove them as I don't want to be disrespectful in any way.
RACHIE: No worries..its already done. Thank you fpr letting me know though i appreciate it :)))

ReplyDeleteSimply stunning and so stylish Jen.
I love your style and flare!! We are currently looking at the the black and white stripe wall paper for our kitchen wall feature with blackboard chalk paint pantry doors (we have 4 kids under 6 years) and I love to cook so they can be my little artists.
Thanks so much for sharing your life with us and I'm so glad I have discovered your blog xxxDani
Beautiful blogg.
ReplyDeleteI really agree with you regarding copycats and how important it is to support the original artwork or artist. Important and great to see you try to make people aware of this. It also goes for copying other kinds of design like furniture, bags etc...
Then I made me a bit sad to see that you have copies of a design classics in your kitchen. The blue chairs in your kitchen is a copy of Arne Jacobsens original "7" chair.
Hope to get your comments on this.
Randi- I see ur point. Two things, I had no idea...and I didn't make those chairs. So when I spoke of copycats, I was upset with people who are recreating my designs & selling them as their own. I'm not selling or making those chairs, west elm sold them. I no longer own those chairs anyway...
ReplyDeleteThx!
Hello Jenn,
ReplyDeleteREALLY love the white kitchen white color and how it blends with the brown flooring. What kind of wood is that?
Great inspiration!! Will have to come back and visit!
Jenn,
ReplyDeleteLove the ideas you have for your home! Making sure I get back to your blog for inspiration and to most of all, wish you luck on all your goals!

Cindy
Hi, Jen! I'm new to your blog, and I love everything about it! I hope you don't mind, but I posted about your home office in my series "Home Office Inspiration," (here is the link: http://daintymom.com/2012/11/home-office-inspiration-made-by-girls-pink-and-white-space/) on my blog, The Dainty Mom. I love your home! So Pinterest-ing! :) Take care and God bless.
ReplyDeleteLove your acrylic coffee table and ottomans. Where did you get them? Your home is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteHi, I just got into your blog from "caroline in the city". We live in NYC and you have designed your home to be STUNNING and beautiful! You use space so well. I wonder if I could hire you to come help us create a new home in our small apt? Have you ever done that before? You have AMAZING STYLE and a great eye!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, where did you get the white lacquer armoirs with gold handles? WOW those would be life savers if we could get those for our apt!!
Thanks for responding and keep posting!
Hey Jen!
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely in love with your home and will use it big time when I need inspiration for my apartment :) I have been looking for a couch that is both functional/comfortable & pretty at the same time! I want something big and grey like yours and I love the shape, how deep it is and the round pillows too! Where did you buy yours? They probably don't sell it anymore, but I am looking for shops that sell similar items...any suggestions?
Also, have you thought of reproducing the Romeo & Juliet painting to sell or to sell ones like it? I am obsessed!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful place!

Hi Jen,
ReplyDeleteI love your home(s) and you are an inspiration in that everything is so well done. Tasteful and luxe but not so extravagant as to seem out of reach. I have 3 questions.
1. Do you live on both coasts? I see a NYC apartment and a Nevada townhome. I ask because I want to know how you derive your style and your inspiration for what you post. All of it is dead on.
2. What is the brand name and paint color used on the walls in your NYC home. I have a brownstone in Bklyn and want to get rid of all the deep colors I have and paint it all white but have not found the "right" color white that would make the home look as dreamy as yours does.
3. Where did you get that blue living room rug with the greek key design. Divine and I think I have to have it.
Great job. Keep up the beautiful work and may God's hand always guide you in what you do.
Chris.
Hi Jen, love your style!
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell me where you've got the white glossy tv stand with the black top ? And I really love the gray sofa, could you please tell where you got that too :)
Lori
Where to begin...hm...Honestly, I can't make up my mind. There's just too many things I love about your house! It's very chique and classy. I see the minimalist perspective in each room; making the most out of the space without getting it too crowded. Way to go, girl! \(☆o◎)/
ReplyDeleteBtw, don't forget to follow me on Pinterest.
Thank you!
